The All-Nighter is a comic book series published by Dark Horse Comics since 2022, written by Chip Zdarksy and illustrated primarily by Jason Loo. It is an urban fantasy which subverts many clichés of superheroes and monsters. The ongoing plot focuses on a society of sympathetic vampires, including a version of Count Dracula who is treated as a hero rather than a villain. Another prominent character is Frankenstein's Monster, who is portrayed as a rational, ethical being, rather than a mindless beast or a vengeful killer.
In the cosmology of the series, supernatural beings are created from the Zeitgeist of popular culture. The Monster explains that he spontaneously sprang into existence after Mary Shelley's 1818 novel became popular, being "born" full-grown in a German forest with implanted memories of an early life that never happened. In addition to "Frank" and the vampires, other cultural monsters make appearances, including bridge trolls and a minotaur.
As of 2023, two trade paperback anthologies have been published, each one containing five issues of the comic book.
